NUJ Strike

The Bromsgrove Labour Group offers its supports for the strike today for local journalism and local journalists. The staff working for the Bullivant Media should get paid properly and not be forced out of work via compulsory redundancies.

“Bromsgrove needs good quality local journalism so that our community is kept informed with accurate and up-to-date information about the local news, weather, health services, crime, and local events. Good journalism is an essential service for the public, we all rely on it.”

“The Bromsgrove Labour Group is urging the Bullivant Directors to engage in further talks with the union to resolve the dispute and ensure the company maintains jobs and high journalistic standards – that is what Bromsgrove deserves.”
