Bromsgrove Labour Councillors are calling upon the Leader of Bromsgrove District Council to write to the Government calling for the sacking of Dominic Cummings.
It is important that the Leader of the Council makes it clear to the Prime Minister that he must take responsibility over the scandal and take action to restore public confidence.
Durham police have stated Dominic Cummings might have committed a minor breach of lockdown rules when he drove to Barnard Castle, but will face no further action. This clearly shows that the public were right to be outraged over behaviour displayed by Mr Cummings. The force’s statement confirms that Cummings broke the rules while residents in Bromsgrove were dutifully obeying for the common good: he broke the rules he helped write.
Over 80 MP’s from all parties have called upon the Prime Minister to sack his adviser. In addition over a million people have signed a petition calling for Cummings to be sacked. Thousands of residents in the district signed the petition and the Leader who represents the residents of Bromsgrove should make their feelings known in calling for the sacking of Dominic Cummings.
